I love mixing colors when doing my nails. Although I tend to stick to chic black, or a burgundy merlot color; however, recently I’ve been trying out more vibrant, yet a still subtle palette. A deep satin blue, and make them matte! Meaning don’t keep that glossy shine, make it a texture that’s unique, a texture that’s more appropriate for Winter. I’m in love with matte, and these textures can be purchased in a nail polish, or in a seperate polsh itself to make any color winter matte!

J'adore
If there’s one thing I’ve taken from French is the saying “J’adore”, meaning I love. And I absolutely love stripes. Although it’s a pattern that’s been around since out parents were kids, doesn’t mean it is out of style. Pair any stripped shirt with a basic skinny pant, and you have a definite ready-to-go outfit! I like wearing oversized stripped Tee’s, I pair them with a basic black skinny jean, and some rockin’ velvet red combat boots I purchased at H&M, for $25! Well as you can see stripes is a necessity in any person’s closet. The versatilities are endless for your fashion creation!

Falling for this Street Style!
Here is another head to toe chic street style, that’s casual yet classic. Her clothing combinations flow together effortlessly, and create an indie vibe. The beanie is obviously an already favorite for me; the maroon merlot color is a fall staple. However, the uniqueness from the beanie comes from the thicker material it’s made from; because if you have thick hair like me it’s hard to keep a thin knit beanie from falling off. The shirt is a basic printed oversized T. These are my absolute favorite, because the thinness of the shirt flatters your figure, and doesn’t cling! Paired over the shirt is the focus of this look, the oversized military green coat! The color is great for fall and winter, and its keeps you warm as well. I’ve already purchased mine at H&M for around $40, it was a definite steal. Her pants are a basic pair of black thick legging (they are thicker to keep warm), my favorite are known as “pixie pants” you can buy them in several colors at Macys. Lastly, we can see a bit of her vintage tattered cowboy boots. Purchase these at Urban Outfitters; however, honestly I would rather go thrifting at local flea markets, and Goodwill’s because you are bound to get a better price.

Street Style
Kudos to this young fashioninsta, she rocks the laid back look with the in cooperation of edginess. Her tousled hair looks boho, yet seems appropriate enough to go to school or when you are out on the go! She is wearing a gray slouchy beanie which allows people like me who are lazy more often than not to look put together. Also she pairs a thin oversized skull T, with an oversized taupe-colored cardigan. The combo goes together effortlessly, as well as her skinny black leggings, and suede charcoal colored booties. Take a try at this super cute attire sometime; it’s easy, affordable and ultimately stylish.
Fall Friendly Denim
We’ve all come across that denim blouse in your shopping routine, heck you might even have a couple in your closet! Whether it’s faded, distressed or even a different color; there is probably still one denim style you haven’t yet purchased. It’s been seen all over the runways, and quite a few celebrities have sported the trend, it’s the ombre denim. Yes, you know like ombre hair? It starts off one color and fades into a darker or lighter one. I’ve been digging the dark to light denim. The shirt is very versatile, leaving you with dozens of outfits to pair with. Pair with some printed jeggings, and some carmel colored riding boots, and you got yourself a full proof outfit.

Don't Worry, Be Happy!
Smiley faces are seen everywhere in the fall, and not just on people’s faces. They are now emerging on shirts, yes the big grinning face, which were often times seen in the 90’s. I’ve seen this t-shirts in various cuts and styles, colors and fabrics. They all have one similar trait though, which of course is the smiley face! Purchase an oversized tee pair it with a light cardigan, blazer or jacket and some printed skinnies. And voila, you got yourself a chic on the go, happy look!
Kudos to Forever21 and H&M
"Let Them Eat Fruit!"
I love mixing odd, weird and ultimately quirky patterns; whether it’s my clothes, bags or shoes. I feel the patterns establish a sense of character, and the ability to express your creativity. Well, one for my new obsessions is patterned oxfords. Yes, I’m aware oxfords have been quite popular for the past couple years; however, I’m used to seeing the classic caramel colored ones. I recently came across a pair at my local Goodwill. With the white background and fruit inspired print, the simple shoe allows me to wear a subtle outfit with a pop, being the shoes of course. I don’t know the exact brand of my new oxfords, considering I thrifted them, and they were only $3. However, I’ve looked at various places such as H&M, Forever21 and Target, and they seem to have the newly inspired trend down to a T.

Pretty in Pastels
Pastels are the current craze; they’ve been seen on the runway, the streets of New York and on various well-known fashion gurus’. We see them on knit sweaters and scarves, but adding a touch of pastel to your hair can add softness and a touch of edginess. The pastel colors look ultra femme and bring out your delicate bone structure. Colors that look great are pastels in purple, mint, pink and sometimes with the right skin tone a light blonde color.

Chic Sneaks
I was never a big fan of heels due to my lack of coordination and awkwardness. So it’s no surprise I’m always a sucker for comfy flats or a pair of Toms. Although I recently had taken a trip to my local mall and found my way to Macy’s. They had introduced their Micheal Kors collection awhile back, but I always see if there is anything new. I was shocked to find these surprisingly chic, yet subtle high top sneakers. They definitely embody glam and a bit of edge, but it’s easy to work them into a casual ultra comfortable outfit. You tie them, zip them, as well as buckle the studded belt. I know it’s seems a bit gaudy, but the entire shoe works together effortlessly. There are several colors; I purchased mine in black in the hopes of wearing them with multiple outfit combinations. At first I was reluctant to purchase them due to the price ($195) however, I got an extra 30% off, and they were totally worth it!
